[Black Mesa Transit System]

One line summary

That's so true. Good idea, the grpahics were well done as well. The movement and animation were a bit poor, and it was a bit short, but apart from that it was ok. That part of the half-life game really did my head in.

I know the animation is very poor, but that is my first cartoon animation released, my others were simple stick men and sprites.

[Phenomenal First Look]

That was unexpectedly good. I'm looking forward to this. I think it could do with a little bit more graphic development, especially the backgrounds, you can afford to make these detailed as they don't move. And when you're training, it would be nice if you could try out the move yourself. And if your going to submit previews / teaser etc. submit them to newgrounds alphas, because you'll get better feedback, and they can't be blammed. Apart from that, very good effort.

thanks for the honest review. You seem to know what you are talking about. Anyway I will spiff up the gfx a little more in the finished version but, I am shooting towards great gameplay more though. Good gfx does not a great game make! (Sudeki for the Xbox for example)

I was gonna give this a one, coz it's boring and pointless, but then the koala popped up randomly, that raised it to a two, then the song at the end made it a five. That's a really bad way to decide on the voting score coz it's not even your song, but never mind.

That had a really smooth feel to it, the graphics were very slick. As an animation it wasn't anything great, but I did quite like it. The ending was kind of unexpected.

Yeah, that was nice, I liked the first scene very much, although I was looking at it for too long. The sound is nice as well, it really fits the mood. I was a bit disappointed at the rest of the animation though, I didn't have a clue what was going on, and it was a bit pixelated in places. I dont think that it was a very accurate depiction of insomnia, it seemed more like a nightmare. Oh, and if you cant sleep - lay off the coke...

Yeah, I didn't have a clue what was going on, but unfortunately that didn't make it scary. There wasn't even any animation, just a series of pixelated jpgs shown as like a slideshow with some crappy sound effects. The graphic style the whole way through, including text and stuff, was just hideous. The only mildly scary part was when random photos flashed up for half a second, but thats been done before, and didnt really make it scary.
